A soon-to-be-acclaimed firm that was still looking for its identity. Their exceptional use of materials and sense of place was a natural starting point for the development of their brand. The printed materials for their identity emphasize the process by which those materials are created—namely, the dynamics of water and pressure during the printing process. The design itself is informed by local tide tables, reinforcing the core themes of materials, process and setting. The firm’s identity, presentation books and other collateral were instrumental in their success and elevated national profile.
