Investment bankers with an agrarian work ethic.
When Black & Company embarked on a comprehensive branding project, they were the largest independent investment bank in the Pacific Northwest. Being locally owned and specializing in small-cap companies, they prided themselves in knowing the region’s CEOs better than investment banks back east. They identified strongly with the agrarian work-ethic associated with the Willamette Valley and showed it by providing highly personalized service.
Our brand strategy did away with typical imagery and jargon associated with investment banks – focusing instead on personal language and a regional approach to creative problem solving.
